Jay Dodds is clearly an excellent kickboxer, but he repeatedly chose to shoot in on solid grappler, Alfie Davis. It proved to be a significant tactical error. Both fighters had success on the ground, but Davis was able to control position in the final two rounds to claim a decision victory.
